I haven't in a long time.. they used to be the best in canned meat.. The bacon was the top of the list for us tho.. we always had tins of it in the camper or at deer camp or even hiking.. sure the tins of meat were heavy but it was traditional to have bacon and pancakes last morning of the hike.. bacon cooked first and the pancakes almost floating/deep fried in that bacon grease!
we liked the beef too. I can't recall if we used any of the others. They discontinued the bacon and we stopped buying it but I have seen it online at amazon again but the price is OMGOODNESS high!
Backwoods Country home has directions for canning your own bacon.
You're so welcome.. I had forgotten about this thread.. I do like the small tins of chicken and ham by hormel tho.. they sometimes go on sale for about a buck a can.
