Lazy Gardener here. 61 y.o. biddy, who loves to garden, loves to play around with power tools, and build stuff. Gardening style: No till, deep mulch. Converting garden to Back to Eden. Planted an orchard several years ago, also BTE. Seeing my first blossoms this year!

I have a flock of 14 hens and 1 rooster, and 36 chicks. One dog who is supposed to guard the birds, but she would rather see the birds run.

Hubby, is not a farmer, but is patiently supportive!

Above all else, I serve Jesus Christ.

Welcome from your neighbor in NH! I do need to learn more about this Back to Eden gardening. @Beekissed is also doing that type of gardening, I hope to learn a lot from both of you!

Jump right in! Glad to have you!

Go you, keep it up!

So where's the thread where you all tell us about this Back to Eden stuff? I can't handle another forum or I would be over at the sister site there. So you need to share with us! Please:)

Right @sumi?

Well...I thought the hugel blah, blah, blah thread would be where folks talked about that. :D Freemotion is doing it as well and I figured she would start it. LG has a thread on it on BYC and I have a thread on it on TEG as well as on my own forum, so it's a toss up as to who will start that thread but I'm sure it will happen any day now.

I'm attempting a BtE. Will be a long slow process as I'm working and developing soil over blacktop. DH is convinced I'm wasting time and effort. I think if I BtE over the edge of the blacktop and get perennials with deep root systems anchor the whole thing won't peel off in heavy rain.

I'm all ready to talk deep mulch gardening @Lazy Gardener ! Thanks for joining! I can't wait to learn from yours and share results!
