My husband and I live on 10 acres and lease add'l 12 acres. We have horses, sheep, cows, chickens and a goat. We have built our farm from scratch. The only infrastructure here was an old home. Glad to be here ty.

Howdy there neighbor, where bouts yins located? We are on the outskirts of Creal Springs in southern IL and past Bum F Egypt on 18 acres here.

You all wouldn't happen to need a few roosters would you? I just so happen to have a few extras.

@CrealCritter looks like you need to butcher some roos! I carve out the breast meat and vacuum seal it for stir fry. I cut the meat off the thighs and drumsticks, and can it. I boil the bones and the bony back pieces for broth and can that. Then I take the bony back pieces, 1/2 cup cooked rice and whatever vegetables are ready in the garden, pack in a quart jar and can for dog food.
