I have two inexpensive, metal torch lamps, and both have had the wiring go bad. DH told me he would fix them, but his "fix" didn't fix the wobbly light bulb connection and looks like crap.
Is there any place that I can buy a kit with the wiring? I still have the glass globes for both of them and they aren't the skinny WalMart specials for $10.00, just lamps that were normally over $100.00/each and I bought them on clearance. They did work for several years and then the place where you screw in the light bulbs got wonky and cracked. I have looked at the chain hardware stores, and even Radio Shack, who USED to carry all sorts of kits for stuff, but they don't anymore.
HELP!!!

Is there an electric supply store in your area? They might carry the kits.

Try Lowes or Home Depot. They carry re-wire kits. It's not hard to do.

Thanks. I didn't have any luck checking them before, but maybe it was asking new clerks.
