How many standard size eggs can a silkie set on?

She's defnitely broody, so I gave her todays barred rock eggs.--8 in total. I don't know how many of her own she had, I think two, but when I checked on her--not all the eggs were tucked in under her. so when I go out tonight to put the rest to bed, I'll lift her up and check. Does anybody know how many she can handle?
