This video reports on what various news agencies in the gulf area have been finding regarding chemical poisoning

Being that conventional medical doctors don't have much of a clue on how to detox chemical poisoning it would be to ones advantage if they live in the gulf region to
learn this process. You really need to seek the advice of a naturopathic doctor who specializes in chemical detox and has done sufficient research on the protocols available. It looks like many in the gulf region need immediate help in this area.

This article has a map where complaints from chemical exposure has been reported. Unfortunately, with the corexit that is deep in the water immersed with oil, it will take many years before this risk is eliminated. The depositing of of chemicals in the body could also be gradual for many people without overt symptoms at the time, but eventually will lead to serious diseases, most likely cancers and neurodegenerative.

This article also explains exactly what some of these chemicals can do... and of course it is no secret that benzine causes cancer and that corexit9500 breaks down fat compounds, fat compounds that are essential to human and all animal life.

Researchers and weather analysis predict that the corexit and oil chemcal exposure could move up the east coast as weather patterns change and the huricane season sets in.

So how much benzine does it take to kill you?

Do not follow the path of the 9/11 workers and other people who were exposed who to the World Trade Center dust and chemical toxicities. Get proactive for your own health before it is too late.

I have heard that it's possible for corexit to evaporate and come down in the rain, so those of us who are not in the gulf may need benefit from learning about it as well. :( I'm in the midwest, and we do get weather from the gulf from time to time.

ETA: duh, you mentioned that in your original post!
