I used the egg bread recipe and substituted 1 cup of whole wheat flour for the bread flour and it came out beautifully! I'm so excited!!!

My dh would tell you that you are supposed to cut off the heels while the bread is still hot, put butter and honey on them... and devour them IMMEDIATELY!

I like to substitute a cup of rye sometimes, too.

That bread looks great.

I bet it taste as good as it looks too. Did it disappear before it got cold. I always have to bake 2 loaves. One to eat hot and one to have for the week. LOL
