:smack :sick :somad Do these people have a hole in their heads where their brains fell out?
If they couldn't stay there to tend the animals - find somebody that will. Or sell them for somebody else to feed and have food from later. Even sending them to be processed early would be something better. Karma is likely to be a b!+ch. Maybe they will fall in a pig pen themselves. That's one way to feed the critters.

oh for the love of pork.. where is the humanity!!!!?????

say did you see this:
Pigs are "extremely intelligent and sensitive" animals that as "living, feeling creatures deserved to be treated with compassion," Baur said.
... do you think i'm on a watchlist for calling my pigs names? ha!

i gotta say tho.. i'm guessing there will be more of this especially with the price of feed going up.

can you imagine the stink? ugh. no to mention the tremendous waste - i'm sure there are alot of hungry people who could have used a meal. wow.

wasnt there a case not too long ago when someone left a warehouse full of meat to rot? ugh.

Factory farms are evil.
Not so much the farms, but those that run them.....and this pretty much proves it.

the idea of leaving all those animals to starve to death is awful. and pigs in CAFOs are inclined to eat their neighbors, anyway... can you imagine how awful it must have been in that barn?

but the thought of all the hungry, well-deserving people that could have been fed, even on pigs that hadn't quite reached market weight, is just so depressing. i mean, that guy wouldn't have hd to put forth any real effort to arrange that the pigs were taken by other farmers or charities.

so sickening.

I am sickened by this on a level I don't even have words for. Short of being abducted by aliens, there is simply no excuse and thats the only excuse that should keep this guy from being prosecuted to the fullest extent possible.

Its times like this that remind me its likely a very good thing I am not in charge of deciding his fate!

They weren't animals. They were a commodity. CAFO operations don't think of their stock as live animals. Our society is getting sicker.
