That's like when I told the head of our Local phone company (local and wired) that the only reason I bought a throwaway cell phone was so that I could call and report that my wired phone was out of order AGAIN.~gd

I had a similar experience when I emailed our local phone company to report an outage, and they emailed back to ask me to call them. :he

LOL

those are funny situations

I have an old rotary phone. It works in outages. I have it up on top shelf in the closet. The old princess phone.
When power goes out I lose phone etc. So I plug up my princess and call everyone I need, which is not many lol

I have been looking and looking for another phone and can't find one....cause mine is getting very old now. I think I might hit the internet and find myself a new princess phone since I sure can't get one in the store.

My phone service was out, and my cell pohone was out of minutes, so I got on the computer and got on the Bell website. I figured I would email them to see if htey could come and check my line, so I clicked on 'contact us'. they had their phone number, fax number, and a mailing address. But it said if you are experineceing difficulties with your phone line, pleas call 310-BELL :th

I love these kind of things!

A few months ago, my mom, niece and I went to a Storm Spotters class in Mountain View, AR that was sponsored by NOAA. We went just for the interest in knowing what to watch the sky for and ended up earning a certificate for our time.

My favorite part was to call or e-mail them (NOAA) if you spot a storm happening in your area.

Um, hello? If it looks like we've got a storm heading this way I've got the computer off and everything unplugged and I turn off my phone, too.
