Spraying is different then feeding. You use a candle wick and a canning jar of skim milk to do the job.Wannabefree said:600 pounds is rather large, how the heck did they show it!? I have heard of milk feeding, and use it on my own garden too. It keeps pests at bay too.
Ahhhh. Well a Master Gardener friend of mine tipped me off to the benefits or spraying raw milk on my garden. Never really knew the diff. between spraying and feeding. Learn something new every day I may try that next year on some jalapeno plants for poor hubsterBubblingbrooks said:Spraying is different then feeding. All extra vines are cut off, and a slit is made near the base of the vine that has the selected pumpkin. The wick is carefully set in the slit, and the other end is placed through a hole in the top of jar lid.
The slit in the stem is sealed and wrapped as well.
ETA! What would the government say about milk feeding? Spills and raw and such.....
I've read about it. The flesh is supposed to be paler, but amazingly delicious. No idea about nutritional values, but I'd be happy to taste test for you.Bubblingbrooks said:Spraying is different then feeding. You use a candle wick and a canning jar of skim milk to do the job.
