First off...no, it's not some scam!!
I work at the Lutheran Memorial Camp and we will be having an Apple Butter Festival on Sunday October 8th. For anyone who makes crafts or unique items you can rent a booth space in our lodge for $20 and the donation of one item to our auction.
Attendance at the festival ranges from 800-1100 people and the love, love, love hand crafted items.
We are also looking for someone with a menagerie to "donate" your time and animals for a petting zoo. The camp is about 8 miles south of Mt. Gilead in Morrow county.
I am drumming up vendors and for that matter anyone who has items to donate because their mission is honest and all proceeds go towards "scholarships" for kids to attend camp. With the economy in the crapper, folks are gripping their purse strings with an iron fist (understandably) so straight up donations are down.
