Sounds like a very good idea there, Twiceshy. I usually forget to look in those bins, but my store *does* have them. They also have a couple of carts out for bakery items that have gone past their sell date.

If you work in one of those offices that loves to ask people to "contribute" for breakfasts and such, those bargain bins can be a lifesaver!

Be sure to take the bakery items out of the box, though, so that no one sees the red tag with the mark down price!

Good idea... I'd probably just wrap whatever it is in colored plastic wrap and maybe the item would even look homemade... uh, well no, I won't go that far. I can always tell the difference and I'm sure others could, too.

But anyhow, yes, those carts they put out are nice. We have a budget-priced bakery nearby, too.
