Hello all,

I just started my Central Air unit. My setting in the thermostat is 70F, inside house is 84F, Outside temperature is 96F. In this situation what would be the Air Temperature from the Air vent.

Thanks in advance.

Steve, honestly I'm not even sure what you're asking, or why. Are you wanting to know the temperature of the air coming through the vent into your home to cool it? I don't see the relevance of that question, and I also don't have a clue as to the answer for you. If you really want to know though, I'd suggest sticking a thermometer in the air register to find out. I don't know how else you could measure it. I'm sure there is a mathematical formula to figure it out, but I am not aware of it. I guess I'm not much help here but figured i'd answer to bump it up so someone else more knowledgeable about HVAC could check out your question :hu
