Joel, this post gave me a chuckle and I thank you for it! I'll have to see what happens if I bury my son's drawers....they should not only fertilize the garden but also disintegrate quite nicely, as they are already half way there.

Yeah, I can relate. It may be a well-known fact, but it gets cold up here in Canada in winter. Maybe not as cold in my region as in many others, but still... Anyway, I have a pair of woolen briefs that are the transition step from warm-weather underwear, before starting to wear my longjohns for a few months. I got them out of the dresser drawer a week ago only to find moths had gotten to them (rather defeats the purpose!)
