If anyone has an older dog, or a dog recently recovering from surgery, ACL, leg injuries.....or needs help.

A cloth reusable grocery bag makes a great hoist for walking and pottying.

Just cut out the sides and run under the dogs belly. You can then assist up stairs, steady, etc.

Much cheaper than what the vet will sell you and they go in and out the washer and dryer.

Good idea, and it has the advantage of having handles :). I've read of using an old towel slung under the dog's belly as well, but ... no handles :(.

:welcome

That is an AWESOME idea! I did the towel thing with my poor dog Chloe after she had a stroke. Thanks for sharing! :D

We used old sheets for an elderly golden retriever. It was tough on the hands. That is a great idea. We've got another oldster who may need this soon. Thanks for posting!

Thanks for sharing that idea, I've always used blankets, but handles would sure help! When my dog had TPLO surgery, they sold us a special padded thingy with handles, but you could make your own that way easily and probably save some money!
