Disorganized tools can quickly turn into a tangled mess. It is also nice to be able to find the right tool when you need it. ;)

This guy has made a couple of videos that are pretty interesting, on the subject of small (compact) shop organization. He's got a garage where he's had his shop, and is moving a lot of stuff from one part to another part of that building.

Neither space is real roomy. One thing that interests me is that in his hyper-tight former circumstances and in his roomier quarters, he's used a lot of method and common sense. His original tiny, tiny situation was space very well utilized (all things considered) - kind of a storage space, really. He's moved his equipment and some of the storage into the larger space, and done a good job with that, too.

I dunno - this guy maybe takes the cake! The guy has some amazing space-saving ideas, allowing more order among tools, parts, equipment and also more functions within a limited space. I'm really impressed.
