I love anything pickles!!! Does it have to be only pickels? I have an easy pickled okra recipe.

I posted this on another topic, but this is my grandma's recipe, very simple and to the point.

Sterilize jars, wash cukes, and pack into jars. Bring just to boil 2 cups vinegar, 2 cups water, 2 tablespoons salt, then poor into jars to 1/4 inch from top. Put lids on, place in boiling water for 5 minutes, then remove, let set for 24 hours, check seals. Now, I take out the salt, and add 1/2 a pack of Mrs. Wages dill pickle mix. The reason I half the mix is due to pot size. It sure makes a pretty jar of pickles(see pics in my journal...shameless plug lol).

My books had several. Without knowing more about the ingredients it is hard to pick one.
Here is one I might try this year.
It is from "The Complete Book of Pickles & Relishes"
Yup, that's where the recipe is. It is a good one. Too bad I had to take it out, since I am no longer comfortable here
