pickling frozen beans

They are going to end up mushier that way, especially if you've blanched them before freezing as normally works best for freezing beans. If you don't mind mushy then that's fine, but, just a heads-up :)

Honestly, it probably doesn't take much more time to pickle them than to freeze them, does it? Especially if you are of the "it's really acidic AND the liquid was boiling when I poured it over them, who needs waterbath-processing" frame of mind. (I would only do that myself for fairly brief storage, like months not a year, and obviously it is not Current Best Practice Recommendation, but it is not totally nuts either ;))
