I've noticed a number of threads that are basically asking for specifie input from the community. Topics include price of firewood, cost of food, etc. It is difficult to read these threads and get any quantitative sense from the responses. Even I don't have time for data entry and I doubt you do, either.
So, I'm thinking we could use Google Forms to make it easy to enter information and see it in spreadsheet form. There's probably other web services that do the same thing... this is the one I use.
For example, here is a form I set up in just a few minutes:
