Power 4 Home online e-book input

Hello, I am new to the forum here (just found it yesterday) - I am finding it very informative. I noticed a link on one of the pages here, a google ad, for "How to make your own solar panels". Its an e-book "kit" from Power4Home.com that goes for $49.95 on how to build solar and wind systems and even claims a way to get storage batteries for free. Does anyone have any knowledge of this kit? Is it worth it? Thanks!

Hi and welcome! i don't know about the book, (saw the ad too, )but my first thing to do would be just to look on the internet for free ideas. There's lotsa free stuff out there, so me--being the frugal tightwad that I am, would look for free stuff first.

If you do happen to get the e-book, let us know how it goes though!

DH and I have been looking into solar power and wind power as well.

DH says he's finding lots of interesting stuff on ebay for construction purposes. We've just been hitting a whole lot of different sites and reading up.
