This is super yummy!

Pumpkin Ribbon Bread
Filling:
2 pkg (3oz ea) cream cheese (softened)
Beat 1/3 C sugar
1 T flour
Add & Mix 1 egg
Stir in 2 tsp gr. orange peel

Bread:
Combine:1 C cooked pumpkin
1/2 cup oil
2 eggs
Add: 1 1/2 C sugar
1/2 tsp salt, cloves, cinnamon
1 2/3 C flour
1 tsp baking soda
2 tsp chopped pecans
Mix to blend.

Pour 1/4 batter into 2 greased & floured loaf pans. Carefully spread filling over patter. Add remaining batter. bake 325* 1 1/2 hr or until tests done with toothpick. Cool 10 min, remove from pans. Eat or refridgerate!

And store brand cream cheese happens to be on special this week, and I still got one more pumpkin I can cook up, so (once the gas tank gets filled back up), I'm seeing one of these in my future ... it's not pie, but it IS pumpkin!
