One of our drakes has been limping. Not sure what he did to it - nothing seems out of place, but there may be a tiny bit of swelling on the hock. He doesn't put his foot flat. Though he favors it, it isn't slowing him down at all and he doesn't mind when I examine it. We need to try to get it better for the fair in a couple weeks.

I gave it a few days to see if it would get better, but it's not. I rubbed some magnesium oil on last night and it seemed better this morning. I'll keep up with this.

Is there anything herbal that is toxic to them that you know of? I have plenty of herbal potions but I don't want to experiment on him.
The one I'd like to use has comfrey, Oak Bark, Marshmallow Root, Mullein Leaves, Black Walnut Leaves, Gravel Root, Wormwood Herb, Lobelia Herb, Skullcap Herb, Lungwort herb, and Slippery Elm bark. It works great for humans, not so sure about ducks.
