Replace fridge door seal?

if it is that old it might be better off longer term to replace the whole fridge - power company may give rebates for working old fridge in the process (and haul the old one away for free). in a few more years ours will probably have paid for itself in that it uses a lot less electricity and Mom really liked that it is much quieter too (even if it runs more it has a smaller compressor so it doesn't chew up much energy).

Go to Lowes or Home depot and get some of the gasket things that they make for storm doors... there are all types with double pieces of rubber stuff that squish together more to seal drafty storm doors... There are all sorts of different seal type things... some in rolls....
These were on the clearance rack at menards, peel and stick. Clean the surface with rubbing alcohol first for good stick. I bought two but only needed a few foot.
