solar for a well?

Is there a unit developed to run a pump for my well? It is a 220amp unit and hurricanes often hurt us for days. I need an alternative. A windmill is not the answer due to price.... unless such a thing as this is too exorbitant.

There are units. Google solar well pump and you will get lots of hits.

Solar well pumps are quite common in the Southwest.
