Tap water is just terrible!

Our tap water is just terrible and I can't stand to straight drink it. Dose anyone have a suggestion of a good water purifier or some other way to make this city water palatable? I know I should drink more water than I do, but goodness this is BAD!

I always use a brita filter.

I've used the AquaWizard filter before and was very pleased with the results. It is a reverse osmosis filter that hooks right to your faucet. It comes with a water tester that measures impurities/particles.

I've heard good things about Brita. Is it cheaper in the long run to by a Brita filter than to buy filtered water? Im drinking bottled water now. (Im getting used to drinking water instead of all the other junk).
