the washing machine is acting up again so we had another visit from the repair service. luckily we're still under the extended warranty period. the agitator wasn't agitating. now we have a new one on order. hope it lasts longer than this current one... will take several days to a week, but the part only takes a few minutes to install once we get it here.

looks like a nice day for the forecast so i hope to be outside enjoying at least part of it.

We finally got rain & a cool down! I'm loving both.

with the bit of rains we had the other day i could get out yesterday and finish weeding, turning and cultivating the place where i hope i can plant some peas today. they're going in later than i'd hoped but it's really been so cold at night that it just didn't seem right to get them planted sooner. we've still had to run the heat here (even last night), but we have some warmer weather now coming up so i hope we'll be ok.

i can hope and plan for things but some days get completely upended so i didn't get the peas planted and it will likely be a few more days before that happens.

these rains are good though as the ground was getting pretty hard to do much with.

making a little headway today on website project for a change.

at least got one update to post correctly with all needed files and it looks like it should.

it's a picture from last winter when we had a reflection from a mirror outside that almost lined up right on the basket and i managed to see it and get a picture:

because i have the date and time captured right in the filename and i keep my camera time fairly synchronized with the timekeepers at NIST it works out as a pretty good way to figure out the angles and degrees if i ever need to do that to find out the particular angle the sun is hitting that mirror and then to isolate which mirror it is and which of the decorations it might be from. however, i'm not going to do that today, but let me say it might be one from Igor...
