I enjoyed that very much. I am raising my own children in a way that I hope the reversed version of that statement is true for them.

I am more frightened about the next generation.

Lazy kids, in front of tvs, overweight. Hmm....and the younger ones starting families now and how can they truly make it in these hard times?

whew.....I believe there is hope, there must be, but what about the next generation?

My generation I grew up outside wtihout video games.
I rode my bike.
Our weight was controlled and not out of control obesity for kids now.
It was safe to play in the neighborhood at night.
There were open fields in many urban cities....I went back to visit where I grew up and all the apple orchards were concrete industrial parks!

There is a huge difference between my childhood and the one my kid will see. Hmmm....
