you all have been so helpful as I have been looking for well and pump info the past several months

look what I just found at lehmans

I think this might be a more econmical sort of pump to have on hand as back up

(just thinking about it haven't decided yet, need to do more research)

I thought I would share, since most of us are on a budget, and most of the well pumps are more like 1000 dollars (or close to it)

An interesting pump. If ones likely usage may be long term though, an all metal pump may be the way to go. I'm currently looking at the pumps made by Bison. They are made from stainless steel, but are a LOT more expensive. However, for short term emergency use, the Lehman pump does indeed seem to be a good deal.

For a backup, emergency type, a canzee pump can be built out of spare pipe & is relatively maintenance free. It was designed to be built & used out in the bush by villagers with low tech societies.
Very simple to build, only 2 parts that will wear out & need to be replaced and those 2 are very simple to replace.

Just thought I'd put that out there for you :)
