va homeschoolers.....got a question for you

Anyone out there homeschooling in Va know how to get an exemption from vaccinations? I just don't think they are necessary and don't want my children to have them. Do I have to get a religious exemption or is there some other way of getting around it?

If that's not what you are looking for, you might try calling your state homeschool group for better advice or even hslda. I'm not in VA, so I'm not sure about the forms there. Good luck.

Not too difficult I don't think. I have Religious exemtions for both my kids in public school. They even call me to pick up my kids if they're doing flu shots or whatnots during classes. I normally remove my kids for a couple of days.
