Just gorgeous the past couple of days, in the 70's.
We're on the edge of the bomb cyclone that will hit on Saturday. Yay. :hu Back to burning wood.

The big storm is well to the north. We have been sleeping with the bedroom windows open. So relaxing.

We had talks of freezing nights and fog, but where I live it's been mostly pleasant the last few days. Mild and mostly dry.

The snow is relentless by you all this year!

We had some "summer" again, then yesterday the bottom fell out and we had fierce wind, followed by rain and flood warnings for lower lying areas. It kinda amazes me how unprepared Ireland is for heavy rain. I've seen and driven through so many flooded roads with either inadequate or NO drains to take the water away. And the ones I do see are so small, they get clogged up by leaves quickly. By comparison, in S.A. where it doesn't rain nearly as often as it does here, we had big drains along the roads and carefully cleared sides for water run-off outside of towns. :idunno
