Well, I'm a widow again for a week.

Hubby and son left at 4:30 this morning for a hunting trip up north. It's bear and grouse season. The first real hunting trip for my son, he's quite excited about the hunt-not so much about the long drive up there.

How on earth will you manage?

Sometimes the peace and quiet is wonderful, but really sometimes it can be lonely. So how do you plan to fill your time???

Well, my daughter is still here with me, so we got lotsa girl stuff planned. (but she's not a girlie girl, thank goodness). I'm gonna pull her out of school on Monday to go shopping in the big city, (London), I'm gonna pick up my Kombucha scoby too, go to this nice, big tack shop. And then there are always the tomatoes, which I'm still doing today, with more coming. And then there's apples...... I've got my mom on the lookout for more canning jars.

I'm collecting materials for that ciderpress, so maybe if I get all the materials, I can start building that.

Other than that, it's just everyday stuuf with me and the critters
