What did you do in your garden today?

If you have extra seeds, just stick them in the ground and walk away. If they survive without tilling, without watering, they're adapted to your environmemt and their seeds will be even better.

I spent ALL day Friday pruning back the herbs, crawling on the ground all around the border of the garden pulling clover and weeds,

My issue is the grass. No one can imagine how fast this stuff seeds, spreads, and grows. Last till was September and I have dense grass at waist height now. I have to mow before I can till.

The crimson clover that didnt come up last year did come up this year and it actually managed to out compete the grass in that spot. I'll till again this fall and lay down a heavy seeding of crimson clover.
