Whey..What to do with it?

Okay, I had 3 gallons of farm fresh milk....got cheese out of it....cooked down the leftover whey and got riccotta. Now is there anything I can do with the yellow watery leftovers beside pour it down the sink?

You CAN make buttermilk from it, but it won't be as good as real buttermilk., You can bake with it--substitute it for liquid (water etc) in recipes. If yo have chickens-you can give it to your chickens. Hmmm, I might be able to think of more.......

And if you make buttermilk from it you can soak the chicken carcass in it, then cook it (the chicken) and eat it. LOL

The traditional solution is to feed it to the chickens (or pigs or whatever)
