My father and i were just talking the other night about good emergency shelter. Weighing the pros and cons, e.g, sturdiness vs. portable, and low maintenance vs. high maintenance. Deciding that having a couple different options for different situations would be the best choice. But our choices stem from a tarp and rope, to pre fabbed modular style lean-to, built from 2x4's and tin. Just wondering what would be some of your favorite emergency shelters to have on hand, and what are the reasons for your picks. Thanks btw for the link very good info.
