seems wazine is out. ivermectine pour on for cattle is recommended for my birds by google. what do you all use?

Eprinex. I only worm if I actually see worms. So it's actually been 2 years now.

I've used ivermectin plenty of times but it's a bit hard to get right now. Eprinex is spendy. So usually a bunch of us get together and split it.

I read that article. I've used all of the wormers suggested. All work fine.

Be aware if you use ivermectin and have dogs that eat chicken poop. Certain breeds can carry the MDR1 mutation that allows it to cross the blood brain barrier and it can kill them. Yes, that means if you have one of those breeds you also have to be careful of heartworm meds as it's ivermectin. It's possible to have a dog tested for it.

No wormers are FDA approved for poultry. It's all off label.

I have more issues with mites than worms here. DOG Frontline is safe. 1 drop for bantams, 2 for large fowl. I normally only need to treat once in the autumn. Rarely twice a year. It's usually red mite outbreaks here.

It depends on what type of live stock and at which intervals you worm at .
