I went to my gf's for breakfast today, and had these bun-type things. They were great! Kinda like a bagel but not as complicated. Anyway, I asked for the recipe, and she gave it to me. I got home and started a batch, but then got to thinking as i started mixing--there is no salt or sugar in this recipe. There is carrot, which I suppose could provide part of the sugar, but I'm confused. Is it possible? I tried calling her to clarify, but she's not home. It's a danish recipe, she had to translate it from danish to english, then i had to adjust the measurementss as she measures in grams, not cups. I don;t know the english or danish name for it either. Any foresight on this??

I watched her write out the recipe and helped her with some of the translation--she didn't leave anything out.

I have found bread recipes without sugar OR without salt, but so far, none without both. I have some recipes that call for other root veggies, but not carrots. So.....

I think you need to post that recipe, girl! That's what I thnk!
