I have my fingers crossed that I have ripe tomatoes this weekend. Can't wait for that first tomato sandwich! :drool

I refuse to buy grocery store tomatoes. They are horrible, not to mention expensive. Waste of money.

mmmm..... I've still got a week before I can put my tomato seedlings outside, and a LOOOONG time before I get tomatoes but I'm looking forward to it and can't wait!

MAN!!!! i was thinking this morning.. if i ONLY had a big ol tomato slice for my fried egg sandwich!

i got a while to go also... sigh.....

I cheated and bought a large tomato plant from the nursery. Hoping for July 4th tomatoes!

Ditto that, we won't have tomatoes until early August--and those will be the cherry variety. The big ones and the romas will start to ripen later in August and through into September.
