Although artificial meat has some theoretical advantages from a sustainability point of view, it's not SS. A pig, on the other hand, is delicious AND it can reproduce and feed itself without the expensive laboratory environment. (Same for beef, venison, etc.)

I stopped reading at pig cells fed with horse fetal serum! I am sure they will slowly start incorporating it in the food supply and all the oblivious consumers will never know any different.....barf

It's a great start!!! If they can learn to do it RIGHT, they can learn to grow food when sending large ships full people to new planets!!!

That's very true. I could see the application there when storing large quantities of food are not an option.
