Every year about this time I go on a diet, it’s my anti hibernation fat winter diet. My goal is 7-10 pounds. Then I shall go back to my slovenly ways. Sweets are my downfall. But it takes all year to gain it back, so Eh.

Starting weight 137 pounds.

This is going to be counting calories and low carbs. Tonight I had a feta frittata.
Calories 378
Carbs 4g
Protein 19 g

Then I blew it with a glass of milk.
Calories 300
Carbs 24g

I’ll finish off that gallon and not buy anymore. Then I won’t be further tempted to add Hershey chocolate (lots of it) and drink 2 glasses of it. I do love milk!

Supper. It doesn’t look like the picture.

This thread is to keep me accountable. Anyone who wants to join in May do so. I will post recipes. This one serves 4, so I cut the recipe down to serves one. I will be using 2 Keto cookbooks and 1 Whole 30 cookbook.

That looks yummy! Cutting out dairy really helped me. I got use to just So-Delicious coconut milk in my coffee.

I use heavy cream. Going to finish this and drink it black. Maybe I’ll look at the case of imitation coffee cream, flavored and whatever.

I have been feeling that I need to give up dairy. I feel better when I don't eat milk and cheese. (And dairy substitutes are much worse) Butter and cream don't seem bad/as bad. But a higher-fat diet isn't helping me now like it did in the past.
I can buy raw milk, friends of ours own Dungeness Dairy out in Sequim, but its not cheep, but, that milk is good for you. http://www.dungenessvalleycreamery.com/

when I have milk from the store [ Dairy gold 1/2&1/2] I feel ,,,yucky, I get a lot of inflammation when I have the raw milk, I dont get inflammation.

but, since I gave up 1/2&1/2 I have dropped 12lbs,, I still use butter to cook my egg in

Wow, I slept late! I did my usual awake couple of hours in the night. Woke up at 6, back to sleep, woke up at 8:15. Feels like a sleep hangover.

Coffee
1 scoop of collagen 70 calories 0 carbs
5 tblsp of heavy cream. 250 calories 5 carbs.

I usually glug glug the cream. Tablespoons? I kept tasting the coffee, still not what I normally use.

I forgot to weigh yesterday morning, I did this morning. Going to first post with starting weight.
