    So very sorry. The personality of those huge dogs are incredible... but their lives are so short! I too would wait and watch the pain level, then put the dog down. All of those treatment options sound bad to me. So sorry!! :hugs

    Well... WAY too early for us to have spring..... berms along the highways are still higher than my car... BUT, the road was mostly clear of snow and ice.... AND ... THERE WAS ROAD CONSTRUCTION!!!!!! So... it must be spring, right? :idunno

    You can also just drink the sap water. We take a birch branch, bend it down, pinch off the buds, rubber band a plastic bag over it. The sap fills up the bag. No, NOT a gallon worth... but it can be done with small trees or even saplings. We use it as a spring tonic... drink it as is.
