I took a nap, but didn't really feel refreshed after it. I got some dishes done, but not all of them. I think they're multiplying. I got all the filled jars downstairs, and found ANOTHER jar of tomato sauce that had the seal fail. I don't know what's up w/that. And, I washed part of the kitchen floor. Hubby is leaving early tomorrow, I don't know if he'll wake me up or not. It's not that he tries, but w/where my bed is in relationship to the bathroom, he uses the bathroom, I get woke up.

Today is going to be another warm one and I have a ton to do. I have to leave early cuz I have the farrier coming at 9:00 and I want to groom the horses first, and put fly spray on them. So I'm just stopping in for a few to make up my list B4 eating and heading out. My list for today is:

1. Empty and refill dehydrator
2. Normal farm chores
3. Groom horses
4. Farrier
5. Clean field and spread manure-2x
6. Work in parking area
7. Work on new chicken house
8. Make salsa
9. Dishes
10. Feed goats and bunny
11. Work in living room

We'll see how much I'm actually able to get done. But by the end of this week, I'll have all of my peaches either dehydrated, canned or eaten.

He was quite pleased w/them. Not only do they have nice, healthy hooves, they all stood quietly for him.

I didn't get everything done, but I got other things done instead. I didn't work in the parking area-RU needed help moving some stuff. I didn't clean the living room, but I did iron a whole basket full of shirts. For the little chicken house, I didn't get much of it done. Basically, all I got was taking most of the bin apart. The bottom has runners on it, and I wanted to take them off. I couldn't get them off. But, I have enough pieces of wood to make it w/out the bottom. I'm not sure what I'll do w/that.

I didn't get to the dishes, but hope I can at least load the dishwasher B4 I go to bed. Then, I can run it in the morning.

I didn't make the salsa. I was going to make zucchini pickles instead, but hubby's been in the kitchen for quite some time making dinner. I expected him to be done over an hour ago, but since he's not, I'm not doing any canning tonight.

I have a busy day planned for today again. I'm glad I'm not going to the hay auction today-I have my appointments-because my hands still hurt from getting the hay last week. If I'm able to get hay next week, I'm hoping to get no more than 40 bales. That won't take as long and won't bother me as much. And, I'll take leather gloves so I can protect my hands some.

I was going to fill the dehydrator again today, but since I won't be home until late, it would mean that the peaches would be drying for too long. They're all in the fridge, so I'm going to wait until tomorrow. I'm hoping I can get my zucchini pickles made this evening. And, I need to treat my squash plants for powdery mildew. We've been having cool nights w/warm days which is the ideal conditions for it. And when I clear everything out of my garden, it's all going to get burned.

So, my list for today:

1. Clean bathroom
2. Wash and hang out a load of clothes
3. Work in living room
4. Normal farm chores
5. Bible study
6. Dr.s' appointments
7. Run a couple of errands
8. Make zucchini pickles
9. Dishes
10. Treat plants for PM
11. Work on small chicken house
12. Feed goats and bunny, clean goat pen

Hubby may just go ahead and take down the tree today using my chainsaw. He gets that done, and I can get that area finished. Since I don't want the chickens all over the yard, I'll be putting garden fence up along the cattle panels. The chickens would still be able to get in w/the goats, but would only be out in the yard when I'm home.

I hope your peaches hold on until you can get to them! I still have a couple of buckets of apples that I haven't gotten to.

Hope that tree comes down. I dislike having to wait to get something done. But sometimes it has to.
Good luck with the PM, I'm surprised your plants are still producing!

I got them in late. And, I'm not getting everything done. I'm exhausted. I fell asleep during prayer at Bible study. I'm planning on going to bed early tonight.

I went to bed at 8:00, but didn't sleep good. And that's my problem, I think. I keep waking up all night long. I didn't get up until 5:00, and still feel tired. And I have a lot to do today. So, my list for today is:

1. Wash and hang out a load of clothes
2. Put out trash and recyclables
3. Clean kitchen
4. Dishes
5. Normal farm chores
6. Work
7. Small chicken house and goat pen
8. Zucchini pickles
9. Feed goats and bunny
10. Spray for powdery mildew

I think this is plenty for today. Maybe if I don't do as much in a day, I'll feel better.
