Denim Deb Hay, hay, hay. Thank the Lord!

I was so tired yesterday. I sold some stuff-including some lily of the valley. I'm thinking of putting an ad on CL just for that and the irises. Since I didn't want to spend the time just sitting there doing nothing, I worked on weeding the one flower garden. It was a mess. I took 4 5 gallon buckets worth of weeds out and fed them to the goats. They were happy. Then I went in and crashed for a bit.

Once I woke back up, I got everything packed up. I traded all of that for a couple of plywood bins. I need the wood from the bins for stuff I'm planning on making and she wanted the rest of my stuff for a fund raiser she's having, so it worked out for both of us. I now have a truck load less of stuff in my house.

I went straight to the farm after getting the bins on. I was going to work on the chicken house, but I was too tired. Plus, I had a tooth ache. KN was there when I got there, so she helped me unload the bins. She liked them as well. Got Stormy fed, took care of the chickens and went home.

By the time I got home, my tooth was killing me. Swirling coconut oil around in your mouth is supposed to help and it did for awhile. But then it started really hurting. I've had a toothache like that B4 and have found that biting on ice cubes helps. We have no ice so hubby went to the store to get some. And I called the dentist. I was hoping they'd call back and tell me either something I could do, or someplace I could go and have it taken care of. I waited for an hour and then called again. The person I talked to wanted to know the pharmacy I used and said she let the dentist know. I'm still waiting for them to call. But my tooth stopped hurting, so I went to bed. I slept OK, but woke up a couple of times. Nothing to do w/the tooth. I had wanted to sleep in, but that didn't happen.

I'm going to church this morning then coming home. If it's not too bad out, I'll be working on my garden some more. And this afternoon when I go out to the farm, I'll work on the chicken house. I'm hoping I can get the nesting boxes made and paint most of it. Then tomorrow I'll finish it and let the chickens in.

Yesterday I took it easy. Hubby and I went out and did some shopping, but otherwise all I did was feed animals and go to church in the morning. The dentist's office finally called yesterday morning so I'm now on an antibiotic and have a pain killer. One thing hubby and I got were some extracts that are also supposed to help w/the pain and/or tooth decay. So my tooth doesn't hurt that much now.

I need to do some dishes this morning as well as make some potato salad. Then hubby and I are going to work on the garden. I hope to have the majority of my starts in the ground today as well as the flowers I got. KN is feeding for me again today, and I'm hoping I can get out to the farm early enough to clean my field, then work some more on my chicken house. I think some of them are hiding their eggs on me. Out of 15 hens, I'm only getting about 10 eggs a day. I keep finding hens out of my area, so I figure they're getting out and hiding their eggs. I'm hoping the new house will make them lay in there. Once I get that one finished, I'll start on another one, then see about selling my original house. It's too tall. And I'm also going to redo the chick houses. I used OSB to make their houses and I'm not happy about how the one is holding up.

OK, I need to get off of here and get busy.

My mouth is really hurting tonight. It's actually 2 teeth that hurt. The one is one the dentist just filled. The other is a crown that they reglued back in place. I honestly don't know that I want to go back to them. My tooth didn't hurt until they insisted on filling it.

I did the dishes, but didn't do much in the garden. By the time we got to it, it was just too hot. And I didn't get back from the farm early enough to do more. My teeth really hurt right now. I've done some oil pulling, taken meds and put some clove oil, etc on the sore spots. Once the pain calms down, I'm going to bed.

I did not sleep well last night. The one that's really hurting now is the one he filled. It's finally starting to hurt less. I cannot chew on that side at all.

Today is going to be a hot one. I have to go to the bank this morning, then the feed store, then Bible study. After Bible study I'll be heading to the hay auction. Depending on what time I get done there I'll either be heading back to the farm to feed Stormy, or heading straight to my allergist. If I don't get done early enough, I'll have to head back to the farm after my appointments. If I do that, I may go and pick up hay-providing I was able to get any.

I went to the dentist. I no longer have the tooth. When they did the filling, they got down too deep and got into the nerve. They wanted to do a root canal, I told them no. I was done messing w/it. It feels funny, and is still bleeding a bit, so I've put a tea bag on it. I just hope I can do stuff tomorrow. I'm supposed to have a riding lesson and I got 40 bales of hay today. Plus, I didn't make it to the feed store, so I need to go tomorrow.

Oh man - that stinks! I'd rather take a beating than go to the dentist! But, it is a necessary evil...

I just cancelled my lesson for tomorrow. I'm not sure I'm going to sleep that well tonight. It finally stopped bleeding, and I was able to take some pain meds. I didn't take them soon enough. I may just try to sleep in my recliner.

I woke up in the middle of the night and took more meds. That whole side of my mouth is hurting right now, but I'm sure it will calm down soon. Actually, that's the best I've slept in a few days.

I'm not sure what all I'm getting done today. I have to get feed, but other than the bag I have to have, I think I'm going to have them stick it in the cab. RU is going to go w/me to pick up my hay. I have to watch how much I bend over, and how much I lift for the next couple of day.

I hope you start feeling better soon. It's amazing how much a sore tooth can cripple us, isn't it?

For sure! I haven't done a lot today, but I feel much better.
