I am trying to drastically reduce my sugar intake since my habit has been to eat several times the national average. I am just shy of a week into this and am cranky, and I had a headache yesterday which is unusual for me. Has anyone else gone through this? How long before I feel good again...
Our local Walmart is starting to carry their own brand of canning jars - made in China. I can't imagine people buying those over Ball simply to save a dollar a dozen. Has anyone noticed if they are selling, or are you like me and not at Walmart often enough to follow their stock?
It has been suggested that I need/(will be required?) to take the hepatitis B vaccine because of the people I come into contact with at work. I have tried to research transmission of hep B and side effects (a staggering list)of the vaccine. I have found many contradictions.

I love books and like to have reference books on hand. I look at several using my local library to decide which is the best for me. If they do't have a copy of a book, you can get an inter-library loan. They will try...
Our local friends group makes an effort to keep books that would be useful to homeschoolers together when they have their book sales. You can get great books there for $.50 - $1.00.
