we have hundreds of them, most related to shows Mom has watched way too often so we know exactly what we're referencing and can laugh about it.
two we've been using a lot lately are "Yo!" and "Welcome!" yo is our "God bless you!" when either of us sneeze. Welcome is a reference to a t.v. show where the dorky guy is being pushed forward to meet a new nice looking neighbor and he can't think of anything else to say other than that. it just fits too well most of the time with our own dorkynesses here and we say it with the whole expression and accent to make it fit even better.
from My Big Fat Greek Wedding (first spelled Weeding ) the lines in the beginning where her dad tells her she's looking too old and that she should get married... just cracks us up all the time. we're simple that ways.
Quicky Picky!
