If these last 3 eggs aren't more than 48 hrs behind, they should pip and no issues. This is when 2 setting helps. Switch eggs and chicks...at night! šŸ¤£

she hasnt moved since 2pm yesterday when I made her get off to poop.
I wouldn't make them get up. That's just me though, she knows what she's doing.
boy she made a huge poo, drank some water and got right back on the job.
Odd fact. Normally they have that one huge poop at night which is almost the same combined poops all day out of the coop combined. She's just not pooping on her eggs.

Congrats on the new babies.

And we have one going broody right now.

Spraddle leg is easy fix. Make little hobbles that hold legs in position. Earlier it's attended to, faster it fixes.
yes, that is what the article said and what I have read over the years

I bought some hobbles off Amazon that I keep on hand now. Basically tiny hair elastics with a leg separator. More elegant version of what I used to make using thin garment elastic.

So, hen and 2 chicks huddled and off nest. Checked 2 eggs...one liquid and I tossed, other chirping and pipping. I picked up hen, took chicks to nest and indignant, complaining hen got back on!! Stay therešŸ˜”. That last šŸ£ will happen in couple hrs if she does. šŸ¤ž. I swear, I'm working harder than her! šŸ˜³šŸ˜‚
