Lol, actually the very same was on my wrap-around-deck the night before!!!! :barnie I took the pic of him/her the next day after on the hill, 20 meters to the right of the cabin!!! :hide Lol, we just don't wander around in the dark or leave food outside!!:\

We keep hearing reports of black bears moving down from Northern Wisconsin and two years ago one to the south and a bit west in Illinois. DH insists they are honing in on my blueberry planting. I don't think I could live in harmony with such large visitors.

Of course when I was younger, we didn't have hawks, eagles, coyotes, buzzards, and wolves around here either. Them I can work with. . . . so far.

While I haven't seen them, there have been many reports of black bears in this area.
