Cool. I was told by a friend that goat is best when first cooked. He says leftovers have a funny taste. Do you find this to be true? Maybe the smoked meat has a different flavor? :idunno

Looks/sounds yummy!

I think we're doing a picnic in our backyard, just quiet with the two of us.

Burgers
homegrown slaw
fresh raw carrots from the garden
unsweet sun tea with a shot of acv
rhubarb pie

btw, the goat is very pretty. But i imagine tastey too. Our neighbors spit one every so often and they offer us a plate. SOOOOOO good. They make a hominy dish and Mrs. Santos makes the best homemade tamales and tortillas. She also makes some guacamole that will light you on fire. And hubby and Mr. Santos enjoy a bit of white lightening.
