Here, at the moment sun sets at around 05:00pm. By December-January it would be even earlier. And it gets up late too. The only thing they've achieved here by setting the clocks back is making it dark in the late afternoons. Pointless when we have such short winter days already.

I really don't care what they call it, just stabilize it! Wish we could adjust how many total daylight hours we get within 24. :rolleyes: That's really "where it's at". Planetary adjustments are not within our power -- oh, yeah, I don't want to move to get this :hide Someone needs to invent a "light timer" that we could set for sunlight...not just a lamp.

Newsflash. This is the REAL time, not daylight savings time. Winter has short days. No setting the clock forward or backward can change it, so they go back to real time.

Yep… They can't genetically modify or otherwise alter it, so they mess with the time instead.
