Donate to remove ads???

Can I donate $ to SS so I can do away with ads? I must admit i'm kind of a sucker for click bait. I have a couple of dead batteries that I need to get rid of and this caught my attention and of course i clicked on it

What happened?

The ads annoy me too at times, but they bring in the $$ that pays for the hosting etc. So unfortunately we have to grin and bear it for now, though I am thinking of introducing a membership upgrade like we have on BYC that allows members to turn off the advertising.

The links on the bottom of the page is usually to stuff I buy or want to buy. Right now it's all fluke stuff from test equipment depot. Not too bad and I could always use another meter for work...
