With all the health benefits of ACV, it is beyond frustrating for me to find, no matter how I try to disguise the taste in hot and cold drinks, my husband says the smell and taste make him gag. Actually, he DOES start coughing and sneezing if he drinks even a little bit, so is he allergic, or something?

I'm about ready to order dried ACV in capsules from Amazon, unless any of you fine people have a foolproof way to get him to drink it. :\

The trick is to mix just a little bit in a drink like tea for example, you shouldn't taste it. I take one cap full of Braggs organic every night mixed in German chamomile flower tea that I grow in the garden along with a cut up piece of fresh canned fruit or berries. And your right it's nasty tasting if I add to much, but the health benefits (to me) are to valuable (for me) to not take a little every night. We also cook with Bragg's Organic ACV when the recipe calls for vinegar. Example could be oil and vinegar salad dressing. My wife made some creamed spinach Monday night for dinner with a splash of Braggs ACV that was delicious.

My doctor was the one who told me I should take ACV and I'm happy to say the last annual check-up / blood work I had done. My doctor told me "Your healthy as a Bull Ox". He didn't also have that to say :)
However, I know it's not 100% the result of ACV.

I also try and eat at least one naturally fermented veggatable a day (garlic dill pickle or sauerkraut) and also drink raw beet juice mixed up in fresh canned grape juice every day. If I don't drink some beet juice that day, then I have some sliced pickled beets -n onions for lunch. All of these veggies / fruit / grapes are grown in my garden and canned here at home, so I know they are healthy and don't have any chemicals / preservatives on or in them.

It's hard to stick to eating like this but like I said the health benefits (for me) are just too many to not eat like I do. You however may want to talk to your doctor before you dive in - some people have medical conditions that may prohibit from certain types of foods.

I like vinegar and I will start coughing half the time if I try to just swallow it.

Make a shrub drink with it. See if he likes that.

My hubby can't stand kombucha and the vinegary taste of it. Exception for kombucha made with match because it is totally different and has a very mild taste

If you decide on the capsules, be careful how many you take. Dehydrated like that- it's a lot more acidic than fresh vinegar (oxymoron?) It is possible to get too much acid in your diet.

Tell him to man up and take his medicine. ;) All good medicine is hard to swallow and makes ya gag, but you hold your nose and do it anyway.

I swig my ACV and follow it with a quick cold water chaser, just like you'd do some hard liquor...or some nasty medicine. :D

My husband has a well-developed and amazing "selective hearing" whenever I go off on a health food rant. He just smiles and says, "Sorry, can't hear you."

I didn't even get THAT when I tried to get him to start taking turmeric.
